- Equestrian skills in horse handling, training, feeding and grooming.
There are also courses for Riding Coaches in CAD (Coaching Athletes with a Disability), starting with Volunteer Training, NSWRDA OTC, NSWRDA Coaching Traineeships Level 1 and 2, Coach Assessors and Educators.
Other Courses are offered in Hippotherapy, Carriage Driving and Equine Assisted Learning Programs.
We work closely with State, Private and Special Schools, Disability Services, Parents, Carers, USC, TAFE and Health and Sport Professionals.
Positions Vacant in 2024
Volunteers are needed specifically for :
Grounds Maintenance at the two SCRDA properties
Shop assistants at the Second Hand Saddlery Shop at the Centre or help with online sales and marketing.
Media co-ordinator (needs good communication skills and a thorough knowledge of the happenings at SCRDA).
BBQ Assistants (helps with fund-raising BBQs, usually once a month on Fridays at Bunnings, Noosaville)
Other fund-raising ventures.
Car Parking helpers at Eumundi Markets, once a month on a Wednesday.
Online bookings for Arena Hire
Computer whiz to design PR presentations
