Hippotherapy
Hippotherapy is a treatment strategy provided by a qualified Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist utilising equine movement to assist clients with movement dysfunction.
By using purposeful activities on the horse with controlled and graded input, hippotherapy aims to address underlying neuromotor function with benefits flowing on to daily activity.
Sunshine Coast RDA Hippotherapy program operates on Tuesday afternoons and is run by a qualified and experienced physiotherapist/hippotherapist, using specially trained horses and volunteers.
